Rowdy River's Rascal

     On every ranch, there is always that one kid who makes you stop in your tracks and say "whoa!".  For the Rowdy River Ranch, that kid would be Rascal.  This gorgeous boy is the son of Tina and Larry born 02-17-07.  He is the twin brother of Gretchen shown on the Foundation Does page.  As you can see in this picture taken 08-25-07, he takes after his great-grandpa (Pipeline), especially in the butt department.  Rascal weighed 31lbs in 31 days and weaned at 63lbs with a twin sister.  At 9 months, he dwarfed even his own father when Larry was the same age.  At less than 1 year old, he stands over 5 feet tall on his hind legs.  He has tremendous thickness of bone and muscle, a beautiful Roman head and excellent breed character.  We have been to many shows, and no wether we have ever seen could hold a candle to him and regrettably, we wethered Rascal instead of leaving him a commercial buck.  This was because he was born with a minor split in his scrotum we later found to be correct.  We know Larry will sire many more outstanding offspring but to us, it will be hard to top Rascal.
